Sample Haute Cuisine in Singapore

Visitors to cheap hotels in Singapore will be able to indulge themselves in the world of haute cuisine in April as the city hosts the World Gourmet Summit.

This event, which runs from April 7th to April 26th, will focus on the relationship between good food, great wine and unique dining experiences.

According to the Singapore Tourism Board, the Asian city-state will be transformed into the world's 'gastro tourism capital', bustling with internationally renowned chefs and master winemakers.

Visitors with an interest in the technical side of cookery and vinification – also known as winemaking – will be able to get some inside tips from the experts.

As well as providing plenty of interesting information and experiences, the festival will offer visitors to Singapore a tour of some of the city's finest hotel establishments and restaurants.

Art lovers will also find something of interest in Singapore this year, as an exhibition dedicated to the artist Xu Beihong goes on show at the city's Art Museum.
