Singapore to Host Festive Celebrations
People staying in cheap hotels in Singapore around Christmas time will be offered a unique festive experience at a special event.
Running from December 19th to 25th, Celebrate Christmas in Singapore will give visitors the chance to experience the festive season as it is observed in a number of different cultures.
The festival will take place at several venues in Singapore's Orchard Road area, including Wisma Atria and Ngee Ann City.
Nightly performances will be held, including magic shows, mimes, musical concerts and more, and there will be a parade of festive floats along Orchard Road.
Visitors will also be able to hear the story of Christmas told in a festive village, while those who will be in Singapore on December 25th will be able to attend a Christmas Day concert.
The festive celebrations will be followed by a New Year's Eve party in the Marina Bay area that will present all sorts of entertainment throughout the evening, culminating in a fireworks display at midnight.
