Singapore Treats Visitors to a Flyer

Singapore treats visitors to a Flyer Singapore will be offering a special treat to its visitors in March as it opens its brand new observation wheel.

Visitors staying in cheap hotels in Singapore in a couple of months' time will be able to witness the unveiling of the Singapore Flyer.

Standing at 165 metres above ground level, this wheel is the largest structure of its kind in the world, taking over the record from China's Star of Nanchang.

The Singapore Flyer will offer panoramic views stretching up to 45 kilometres over the South China Sea to the neighbouring islands of Indonesia and Malaysia.

People staying in hotels in Singapore in March will be treated to more than the grand opening of the wheel, however, as from March 28th the city hosts its annual fashion festival.

This event will include fashion shows and club parties and be attended by world-class designers and international models.

Singapore recently boosted its tourism industry by opening Changi international airport's third terminal, which will increase capacity to 64 million passengers a year.
