Wine lovers interested in the produce of the new world labels will be able to enjoy the best of the Cape at the Stellenbosch Wine Festival.
The town of Stellenbosch lies in the heart of the winelands between Cape Town and the Holland-Hottentot Mountains, with the beautiful scenery and pleasant climate providing a fine backdrop to the festival, which runs from August 2nd to the 5th.
According to the festival organisers more than 5,000 wines will be on show at the festival, guaranteeing a merry time for those who want to try plenty of different varieties, while there will be a chance to visit different wineries and activities for children on Saturday August 4th.

In addition to the festival, visitors staying in cheap hotels can enjoy fine local scenery or pop into Cape Town for the day, enjoying its wide range of food, beaches and museums or hopping on a cable car up Table Mountain.
