Will South Africa Get into the Swing in December?

Will South Africa get into the swing in December? Travellers with a hotel booking in South Africa at any time in December will have a good chance of seeing the country's national cricket side in action as they compete in a pair of one-day internationals.

The South Africans will host two of the world's top sides in the final month of 2007 – New Zealand and the West Indies.

After their crushing disappointment in the rugby World Cup, New Zealand sports fans will need something to look forward to – their side travel to the Sahara Park Newlands in Cape Town on December 2nd.

Then South Africa get their three-match Test series against the West Indies underway with a game at the Sahara Oval in Port Elizabeth on Boxing Day.

Anybody planning to see in the new year in South Africa will be able to see the second match, as the Windies come to Cape Town for a match at the Sahara Park Newlands on January 2nd before the series is wrapped up in Durban on January 10th.

South Africa have been going well recently, clinching only their second series win in ten years in Pakistan last week, and will hope to continue their good form on home turf
