Almeria Gears Up for Bigger Bang

Almeria gears up for bigger bang Almeria is preparing itself for the Rolling Stones' Bigger Bang tour, following after the Creamfields Andalucia event rocked the resort.

August 18th will see Jagger et al rocking out, with Keith Richards now fully recuperated from his potentially fatal fall from a coconut tree.

The Stones are using a hefty 108 lorries to take their tour to Spain, with the stage itself a 60 metre by 30 metre replica of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, so the event should be a spectacular sight, Costa del Sol news claims.

Although the wrinkly rockers pulled the pug on their Madrid and Barcelona dates, with re-scheduling mooted in the future, the El Ejido event at Almeria is still on track.

Tickets for the concert are not going cheap, however, with tickets available on eBay for around £150, so many music lovers may wish to book into one of the destinations cheap hotels to cut costs.

Dandy Warhols fans should also be in for a treat, as the band are supporting the Stones throughout the tour.
