Bands Head to Barcelona for Summercase
Barcelona will host some of the biggest bands on the modern music scene for the Summercase festival this year.
This event is held simultaneously in Spain's major cities – Barcelona and Madrid – on July 18th and 19th.
The programme this year features the likes of Blondie, the Breeders and Grinderman – who are led by Nick Cave – at the top of the bill.
Some of the most popular groups on the current indie scene will also appear at Summercase, including Interpol, Kaiser Chiefs, Kings of Leon, Maximo Park and We Are Scientists.
In previous years Summercase festivalgoers have enjoyed shows by the likes of the Chemical Brothers, Arcade Fire, New Order, Daft Punk and Fatboy Slim.
People staying in cheap hotels in Barcelona should head to Parc del Forum for the festival, while in Madrid the event will be held at Boadilla del Monte.
