Barca to Welcome Struggling Getafe
People staying in cheap hotels in Barcelona in early April may get the chance to see the local footballing giants take on a side they would expect to beat in the race for the title.
On April 6th Barcelona host Getafe at the Nou Camp, a side who were 20 points behind them at the beginning of February.
After 22 games, Getafe's 27 points put them just four points outside the relegation zone, while Barcelona's 47 points had them six behind league leaders Real Madrid.
However, it has been an inconsistent season for the Catalan giants, as proven by the fact that they were defeated in their first league game of 2007-08 against Getafe, when the underdogs triumphed 2-0.
This match is likely to be much more important, considering its proximity to the end of the season.
Barca will be eager to pick up three points in this seemingly straightforward fixture against Getafe, as there will be only seven league games left after the match, one of which is away to Real Madrid.
