Barcelona Hosts Primavera Sound Festival
Barcelona is set to host the Primavera Sound Festival this summer, which features a line-up of some of the world's most famous DJs and live acts.
The event will take place in the Port Area of the city, which was redeveloped in 2004 for the Forum Barcelona.
Highlights of this year are set to include appearances by Lou Reed, Motorhead, Mogwai, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the Flaming Lips and Lambchop and many more.
The event also welcomes children and there will be an area devoted to youngsters. The 40 sq ft area will be equipped with toys and games and will be supervised.
The event will take place from the June 1st until June 3rd and there are still a number of tickets on sale.
Those who wish to see what else this Spanish city has to offer are advised to book into one of the many hotels in Barcelona now.
