Barcelona Museum Looks at Villa Nurbs

Barcelona museum looks at Villa Nurbs People visiting Barcelona this year can see an exhibition offering an insight into the creative process behind a fascinating building.

Villa Burbs is a family house located in Empuriabrava, a marina town north of Barcelona.

It has a striking design featuring wave-like shapes and uses ceramic plates to protect against solar radiation.

When the building is completed, it will look like the eyes of an insect when viewed from above but will resemble some sort of futuristic spaceship when seen from below.

The exhibition at the Ceramics Museum explores the creative process behind Villa Nurbs, which is being developed by the architect Enric Ruiz-Geli, artist Frederic Amat and ceramist Toni Cumella.

People staying in cheap hotels in Barcelona will be able to see the display until August 30th this year.

The Ceramics Museum is part of Barcelona's Decorative Arts Museum, which is located on Avinguda Diagonal in the Les Corts area of the city.
