Barcelona Pays Homage to Its Mountain
An exhibition currently showing in Barcelona explores the history and significance of Montjuic, the city's mountain.
People staying in cheap hotels in Barcelona can see the showcase, which was organised by the photographic department of the city's Historic Archives, until May 30th this year.
More than 60 photographs developed from original negatives comprise the exhibition, which explores how Montjuic developed.
Particular focus will be given to the early period of the mountain's development, between 1915 and 1923.
Visitors can find the exhibition at the Historic Archives of Barcelona in the city's Ciutat Vella district.
Another show that will be entertaining visitors to the Catalan city over the coming months is Mamma Mia, the musical featuring world-famous Abba songs including Dancing Queen and Take a Chance on Me.
This production will run at the Teatre Musical until May 4th.
