Barcelona to Host Major Bands This Year
People staying in cheap hotels in Barcelona this year will have the chance to catch a range of musical acts at two festivals taking place in the city.
The first event is the Ballantines Leave an Impression festival, which will hold concerts in Barcelona and Madrid between March and April.
One of the highlights of the programme will be a gig by Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds on April 25th, which will be the Australian musician's first concert in Barcelona
There will be a number of other music events to keep Barcelona visitors entertained over the coming months, including shows by Saint Etienne on March 13th, Ian Brown on April 11th and James on April 29th.
Another festival to be shared between Barcelona and Madrid, Summercase, is set to take place on July 18th and 19th this year.
A number of acts have confirmed that they will appear at the Catalan city's Forum Park, including The Pixies, The Stranglers, Maximo Park and Mystery Jets.
