Places of Interest in Barcelona
Port Olimpic
Port Olimpic is ideal for stretching those legs after your arrival. The walk along the promenade is great at any time of the year or the day. Here you soak up the sunshine or the sunset with tourists and locals alight.
Santa Maria Del Mar
The streets around the medieval church make this one of Barcelona's coolest neighbourhood's. Also here you will find some of the cities finest bars and restaurants were you could people watch long into the night.

Increasing the budget slightly for up to £20 head for a classic Barcelona eatery the Los Caracoles at 14 Escudellers. Try out the roast chicken or the fish stew, but most come here for the house speciality snails.
Moving up market a little, to a budget of £35 why not head for Espai Sucre at 53 Princesa were again you taste classic Catalan and Spanish dishes.

For live music head for the Jazzroom-La Cova del Drac at 33 Vallmajor. For those who wish to stay out late make your way down to the Moog at 3 Arc del Teatre. The Moog plays techno, house and electronic until 5:00 a.m.

Sant Celoni is a half-hour journey away from Barcelona. There are two good reasons for visiting Sant Celoni and they are, it makes a great base for exploring the nearby Parc Natural de Montseny and secondly it also has one of Spain's three Michelin star restaurants. Getting from Barcelona Airport
Train
The train carrier Renfe operates a service between the station and the city every half-hour the journey is twenty minutes to Barcelona's Sants Station. The cost of the journey is €2.20 train times can be found on www.renfes.es
Bus
The airport supplies a bus transfer into the city; Aerobus stops outside each terminal every 15 minutes and costs €3.60.
Taxi
Taxis are a good option in Barcelona as they are not that expensive. A taxi ride will cost between 15-20 into the city depending on which area you are staying at.

All the major car rental companies are based in the arrival hall; suppliers like Hertz, Budget, Alamo and Europcar plus local suppliers.
