Barcelona's Miro Foundation Hosts Chinese Art
The Joan Miro Foundation in Barcelona will be exploring the culture of contemporary Chinese art at a special exhibition this year.
Until May 25th, the gallery will exhibit more than 80 paintings, sculptures, installations, photos and videos from 51 Chinese artists.
All of the pieces on show were created between 1986 and 2007 and belong to the collection of Swiss businessman Uli Sigg.
The range of work reflects Chinese culture and society during a time of major change and development.

Throughout summer this year the museum will host an exhibition of work by Olafur Eliasson, the winner of the first Joan Miro prize.
The foundation also boasts a number of permanent collections, which highlight the interest that Miro had in various materials, forms, colours and media throughout his artistic career.
