Bull Run Comes Round Again

Bull run comes round again The Pamplona Bull Run, part of the Fiesta de San Fermin made famous by the author Ernest Hemmingway, is set to take place between 7th and 14th of July this year.

Every morning of the fiesta in the Northern Spanish town, which is less than two hours flight from the UK and features many cheap hotels, hundreds of locals and visitors will attempt to outpace galloping bulls through the narrow streets of the town towards the bullring.

Though the local authorities have recently taken the step of coating the streets with anti-slip paint in an attempt to minimise injuries to both humans and animals, the event remains a dangerous challenge to the few that take part.

Those not brave enough to run with the bulls can line the streets to watch and the week-long fiesta will ensure the town's bars and restaurants are constantly lively into the early hours.

Opposition to the event by animal rights campaigners has also led to the Running of the Nudes event taking place in the town a few days before the fiesta begins.
