Can Real Madrid Catch Barca?
Football fans staying in cheap hotels in Madrid over the coming months may get the chance to witness some gripping sporting drama as Real Madrid try to catch Barcelona at the top of the table.
A few weeks ago Barca looked unbeatable, picking up three points from every game with ease and enjoying a 12-point lead at the summit of La Liga.
Following some unexpected results in recent games, however, the Catalan giants have seen their advantage slashed to just six points by Real with 12 games still to be played.
Fans will be racing to get tickets for matches at the Bernabeu over the coming months, including a clash between Real and Valladolid on April 12th.
The reigning champions will then host Getafe at home before what will arguably be the biggest fixture of the entire 2008-09 season - a game between Real Madrid and Barcelona on May 3rd.
Following this crucial clash, Real will take on Mallorca in their final home game on May 24th.
