Champion Stuff

Champion stuff Football fans who fancy a few days in Barcelona have an exciting chance to see Champions League action in the city in November.

Barcelona FC, who won the competition in 2006, will take on Scottish side Glasgow Rangers on November 7th, a game which pits the likes of Messi and Ronaldinho against last year's runners-up in Scotland.

Visitors staying in cheap hotels, whether travelling from Glasgow to cheer on their heroes or neutrals who simply fancy enjoying the game should find there are tickets available in the vast Nou Camp Stadium, which holds over 90,000 spectators.

In addition to the match itself, the city will offer more than just an escape from the cold of a British autumn.

From the remarkable modernist architecture of Gaudi such as the Familia Sagrada to the bohemian delights of Las Ramblas, Barcelona is a lively and culturally rich city which will make for a fascinating trip - whatever the final score.
