Cheap Hotels in Barcelona over Carnival Weekend.

The Barcelona carnival is more indulgent than any other as it is celebrated the week before the Lent fast begins in the city.
With plenty of drinking, eating, music and dancing, locals and visitors embark on the city for one big long-weekend party.
Festivities begin with Jueves Lardero, or 'fatty Thursday', when locals take part in a tortilla-making competition to mark the day when locals gorge on food before Lent.
No sooner than it began, the weekend's celebrations end with the Gran Rua de Carnaval parade through the city streets, watched by over 30,000 spectators.
The festival weekend begins on the February 11th. Booking a cheap hotel in Barcelona this weekend will allow visitors to experience Catalan culture, food and drink, as well as seeing the city's usual attractions.
