A series of photographs capturing the icy landscape of Greenland are to be displayed this month as part of the tenth edition of the International Festival of Photograph and Visual Arts.
Madrid's Thyssen Bornemisza museum is to show the work of American photographer Lynn Davis, entitled Iceberg and Ancient Persia.
Visitors staying in cheap hotelscan check out the work, based on Ms Davis' travels over the last 20 years.
Visiting Greenland between 1986 and 2004, Ms Davis photographed the icebergs in Disko Bay as a starting point in her focus on the natural landscape and world travel.
The photographer then travelled to Iran to work on her Ancient Persia series, which features images of the architectural remains of ancient civilisation from the eras of Cyprus the Great, Darius and Xerxes.
According to Art Daily, Davis' photographic work often uses square formats on a large scale, using black and white tones and frontal compositions to increase the geometry of the landscapes that are portrayed.
