Dancers of the World Make for Majorca
The Balearic island of Majorca will be playing host to the dancing feet of performing artists from all over the world later this year.
Dansamaniga, or the International Dance Festival of the Balearic Islands, will be held at the Sa Maniga auditorium in Cala Millor.
People staying in cheap hotels in Majorca will be able to attend performances on the festival's programme, which will be given by internationally renowned artists, between June and December.
A variety of prestigious local and global dance companies have taken part in the festival over the years, such as Jose Porcel's Flamenco Ballet of Madrid and Ballet Jove Mallorca.
Some of the international groups that have appeared in Majorca have included the Ukrainian Youth Ballet and the National Opera Ballet of Kiev.
Visitors to Majorca will be able to attend a number of cultural events and performances this summer, including the Pollenca international music festival, which will run throughout July and August.
