Head to Spain for the Madrid Masters

Head to Spain for the Madrid Masters Followers of the ATP World Tour tennis championship will be able to take trips to Spain later this year to see the Madrid Masters.

This event will take place on the hard clay courts of the Madrid Arena, with the first round getting underway on May 10th and the final taking place about a week later.

British tennis fans in particular could find a visit to the Madrid Masters tempting this year as they will be able to see if reigning champion Andy Murray can defend his title.

Murray beat Roger Federer on the way to his victorious final in 2008, which saw him join the likes of Rafael Nadal and Andre Agassi on the list of Madrid Masters champions.

People staying in cheap hotels in Madrid will not be the only ones able to see some world-class tennis this year as the ATP World Tour will be travelling all over Europe.

It will come to Paris on May 25th for the French Open, one of the season's four Grand Slam tennis tournaments.
