Ibiza Prepares to Rock

People staying in cheap hotels in Ibiza will learn that the island is about more than dance music and nightclubs at the Ibiza Rocks festival this year.

The event will launch on May 31st and continue throughout the summer, with some of the most exciting artists on the modern music scene performing until September.

Kicking off the celebrations on the final day in May will be The Enemy, who will perform at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel in San Antonio.

Music fans staying in cheap hotels in Ibiza in June could get the chance to see another exciting band, The Pigeon Detectives, who will perform at a secret location on June 17th.

This show will serve as a celebration of the band's second album, Emergency, which will hit shop shelves on May 26th.

As the summer season gets into full swing in Ibiza, the shows will begin to come thick and fast, with the Wombats, the Fratellis and We Are Scientists all performing in July.

Reverend and the Makers and Soulwax will entertain the crowds of revellers in August, before Pendulum bring Ibiza Rocks to a triumphant close on September 9th.
