Mandarin Oriental Opens Luxury Hotel in Barcelona
Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has announced that it will manage a new, luxurious hotel that is currently under development in Barcelona.
The 144-room hotel will be located on Paseo de Gracia at the centre of the city's commercial and entertainment district, reports Travel Blackboard.
It is thought that the newest development will provide easy access to Barcelona's shopping, dining and cultural venues and is a short walk from a number of tourist attractions.
The Mandarin Oriental building will be situated in the re-development of a mid-20th Century building and is expected to open late next year.
The guestrooms at the Mandarin will be among the largest in the city and will include over 50 suites.
Other facilities include a holistic spa, massage treatments, a rooftop pool, a gym and a range of restaurants and bars.
