On the Trail of a Killer in Barcelona

On the trail of a killer in Barcelona People staying in cheap hotels in Barcelona this year will be able to take part in a mysterious and intriguing hunt for a murderer at the Natural Science Museum.

The victim of the crime is the director of the museum and visitors are tasked with putting together the clues to identify the character behind the dastardly deed.

There has been no real murder committed, of course, but the layout of the Assassinat al Museu show aims to explore the science and methodology of forensic investigations.

Visitors will learn how real detectives establish how a person has died and begin to construct ideas on the identity of the chief suspects.

The fully interactive exhibition, which runs throughout the year, allows would-be gumshoes to analyse a variety of clues, including fibres, DNA samples and even larvae.

Using these elements visitors must work out who committed the crime from the six people who saw the director shortly before he met his untimely demise.

Holidaymakers who fancy testing their skills as a super-sleuth can find the Natural Science Museum on Passeig Picasso in Barcelona's Ciutat Vella district.
