One of La Liga's Major Clashes in Barcelona
FC Barcelona face a tough fixture list in December, with their month beginning with a local derby against Espanyol on December 2nd.
The following weekend sees one of the season's major clashes taking place at Barca's Nou Camp stadium as the former champions take on Deportivo La Coruna.
Deportivo are one of Spain's biggest clubs, having won the league title in 2000, the Copa del Rey in 2002 and the Supercopa de Espana in the same year.
They have not made an ideal start to the 2007-08 season however, having already lost to Barcelona's local rivals Espanyol, and they find themselves just three places from the foot of the table.
Barca, on the other hand, have been showing some signs of promise, particularly in their last game against Levante, which saw new signing Thierry Henry bag a hat-trick as the Catalan giants enjoyed a 4-1 romp.
Those with a cheap hotel booking in Barcelona around December 9th will be in for an exciting ride if they make it to the Nou Camp as Ronaldinho and pals hope to show Depor what they are made of.
