Queen of Pop to Visit Barcelona
The Catalan capital of Barcelona will be visited by veritable pop royalty this year when Madonna brings her tour to Spain.
Fans staying in cheap hotels in Barcelona will be able to see the music megastar at the city's Olympic Stadium when it features on the Sticky and Sweet tour on July 21st.
Madonna will also perform in Manchester (July 7th), Paris (July 9th), Madrid (July 23rd) and Prague (August 13th), during the tour, which will eventually come to an end in Sofia on August 29th.
The live shows are likely to feature some material from the performer's latest album Hard Candy, which was a smash hit all over the world when it was released last year.
Long-time devotees will be hoping to hear some of Madonna's classic hits as well, such as Vogue, Material Girl and Like a Virgin.
Barcelona's Olympic Stadium has a capacity of 65,000 and, during the football season, is the home of La Liga side Espanyol.
