Streets of Valencia Warm Up for F1 GP
Motorsport fans will be booking their cheap hotels in Valencia soon to ensure they have a front-row seat for one of the highlights of the Formula One season.
The Grand Prix of Europe will roar through the streets of Valencia on the weekend of August 28th to 30th.
Drivers and teams will practice and set their qualifying times on the first two days, with the main event scheduled for the final day of the weekend.
This will be the second year that Valencia has been the host destination for the Grand Prix of Europe, following the inaugural event in 2008, which was won by Ferrari driver Felipe Massa.
Ferrari will be hoping to repeat their success this year, but will see stiff competition from Brawn GP, the new team who have taken the Formula One world by storm this season.
After six races, Brawn drivers Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello lead the World Championship with 51 and 35 points respectively, ahead of Red Bull driver Sebastian Vettel on 23 points.
