Summer Splendour in Santander
The northern Spanish city of Santander is well known for its international cultural festival, with 2007 promising to be as varied and enjoyable as ever.
Held for the 56th time this year, the Santander International Festival takes place from July 29th to August 29th, featuring a wide range of music, dance, theatre and the arts, showcasing the rich culture of the region.
Events are held in a variety of locations, including colleges, churches, civic buildings and open air venues in parks.
In addition to the cultural delights of the city, the Biscay coast city of Santander has a range of attractions for visitors staying in cheap hotels.
