Take the Kids to Meet Mozart in Barcelona
Families taking a break in Barcelona this autumn will have the opportunity to introduce the kids to some culture at the city's Gran Teatre de Liceu.
The theatre's family season includes a version of Mozart's opera the Magic Flute adapted for children.
There will be eight showings in total, two on each day of the weekends starting November 10th and 17th.
La Petita Flauta Magica, as this version of the opera is known, relates the tale of the bird-catcher Papageno and his adventures in distant lands with a flute and piano accompaniment.
It is not only the kids who will be entertained at Barcelona's Gran Teatre de Liceu in November as there will also be showings of Giuseppe Verdi's tragic love story Aida throughout the month.
The opera house enjoys a prime location on Barcelona's La Rambla, the energetic street on which myriad cheap hotels, restaurants, cafes and shops can be found.
