Tickets Go on Sale for Barcelona Rock Festival
Barcelona City Council has revealed that tickets for the Sonisphere festival that will be taking place this July are now on sale.
The event will prove highly popular among heavy metal fans staying in cheap hotels in Barcelona, with legendary American rockers Metallica performing as the headline act.
Taking place at Parc del Forum on July 11th, the festival will also feature the likes of Slipknot, Mastodon and Lamb of God, with other acts expected to be added in the future.
Barcelona is one of six European destinations that will host Sonisphere this year, with other versions of the festival coming to Knebworth in the UK, the Hockenheimring in Germany and other locations.
Parc del Forum, which is one of Barcelona's leading concert venues, will offer plenty of entertainment to visitors to the Spanish city this year, including the Primavera Sound Festival from May 28th to 30th.
Last year, the venue hosted the Daydream Festival, a one-day event that featured performances by Radiohead, Bat for Lashes, Modeselektor and other artists.
