Valencia Music Centre Season Draws to a Close

People staying in cheap hotels in Valencia before July 13th can visit one of the province's major entertainment venues as it draws its 2007-08 season to a close.

The Palau Music and Conference Centre in Valencia presented its season of performances and events this year to coincide with its 20th anniversary.

In addition to the usual concerts on the venue's seasonal programme, a series of special events were organised to mark the milestone, including six medieval, classical and baroque music performances.

The Palau Music and Conference Centre also presented an international chamber music and soloists season and a programme of the Valencia Philharmonic Society.

Visitors to Valencia who are interested in finding out what this venue has to offer during their stay can find it on Paseo de la Alameda, where it is located in the old river bed of the Turia.

Other attractive sights in the province include the Gardens of Turia and the Torres de Serranos, a set of authentic gothic city gates from the 14th century.
