Vintage Car Rally Cruises into Barcelona
Barcelona will host a vintage car rally in March that will feature an exclusive range of vehicles built before 1924.
The Sitges Vintage Car Rally will include up to 70 vehicles that will take part in a 45-kilometre race along the coastal road from Barcelona, finishing at Port Aiguadolc in the beach town of Sitges.
People staying in cheap hotels in Barcelona will be able to see the classic cars before the race starts at the Placa Marques de la Foronda on Montjuic and the Placa St Jaume in the city centre.
At the end of the race, a winner will be declared, although this will be based as much on the car itself as the time taken to complete the course.
Classic car fans will be in their element at this rally, with recent events having included some of the most famous models in the industry, including the Ford T and the Buick Model 10, and marques such as Cadillac, Rolls-Royce and Le Zebre.
