Visit Valencia for Nuit Des Musees
People staying in cheap hotels in Valencia next month will be able to enjoy some sophisticated culture absolutely free as part of the Nuit des Musees initiative.
Nuit des Musees was set up five years ago with the intention of bringing culture to the masses by having museums open for free one night of the year.
This year's event is expected to be as big as ever, with major museums and galleries all over the continent taking part on May 16th.
In Valencia, visitors will be able to head to the city's Gonzalez Marti Ceramics Museum and the Prehistoric Museum for an evening visit.
Another Spanish city break hotspot, Barcelona, will participate in Nuit des Musees, offering free entry to attractions including the Joan Miro Foundation, the Caixa Forum and the National Museum of Art.
Paris' Louvre, which was recently revealed as the world's most visited museum last year, will be another high-profile participant in the project, along with the Galleria dell'Accademia in Florence and the Museo Sorolla in Madrid.
