Celebrate in the Cirkus of Sweden
Adventurous travellers could find themselves celebrating Christmas in Sweden this year as Stockholm's Cirkus arena hosts its traditional seasonal concerts.
The events will begin on December 18th this year and feature such interestingly named acts as Triple & Touch and the Star School choir and orchestra.
Folk music quintet Orsa Spelman will also be performing, as well as actor and musician Tommy Korberg and singer Elisabeth Andreassen.
The Cirkus has been a feature of Stockholm since 1892, when it was built to host the touring circuses of the time.
It has been used as Swedish television's main studio in the past and more recently played host to an awards ceremony that is considered the Scandinavian country's equivalent of the Oscars.
Stockholm is a geographically interesting city as it is situated on a group of fourteen islands where Lake Malaren meets the Baltic Sea.
