Go Wild at the Wilderness
Those who love the outdoors have a good reason to be in Sweden between March 16th and the 18th.
During these days Stockholm's International Fairs and Congress Centre hosts the Wilderness Fair, which it says will be a "hands on" display of outdoor life, everything from hunting, shooting and fishing to adventure and photography as the wonders of the great outdoors are celebrated.
Visitors with a penchant for the wild will certainly be able to indulge it while staying in cheap hotels in the Swedish capital.
Those wanting to be a bit wild at night will be glad to know that Stockholm has some excellent wildlife, although more sedantry activities such as taking a boat ride around the 14-island archipelago that the city is built on or visiting royal palaces are available.
Beyond the city, Sweden has vast areas of untamed wilderness, mountains and lakes for the adventurer to enjoy.
