Ice-skating in Stockholm

Ice-skating in Stockholm Christmas cheer might be fading fast as we get ready for spring but there's still a chance to wrap up go for a festive spin on the ice at Stockholm.

If you didn't manage to get any skating done during the festive season Stockholm is open for visitors to carve it up outdoors at one of the word's most famous open air skating venues.

Children and adults alike can put their skills to the test in the picture-postcard surroundings of Kungstradgarden park, where an ice rink has held centre stage since the early 1960s. Expect thrills and hopefully not too many spills as families and couples go for a twirl in traditional style.

Featuring a selection of activities throughout winter Kungstradgarden promises an exciting winter experience in the heart of Stockholm. A number of cheap hotels are open for visitors to stay in, giving the option to set up camp and explore the city at leisure.

The Kungstradgarden ice rink is open until February.
