Stock Up on Booze

Stock up on booze Those who fancy a drink this autumn don't have to go to Munich to indulge themselves, as Stockholm offers its own grand alcoholic attraction.

Split over two weekends, September the 20th to the 22nd and 27th to the 29th, the Stockholm Beer and Whisky Festival allows fans of both tipples to indulge themselves with a variety of wares at the Factory Nacka Strand.

Visitors staying in cheap hotels around the city will be able to combine this fluid feast with a range of other enjoyable things to see and do.

Stockholm offers plenty of fine nightlife, all the more so in autumn as the long summer nights are replaced with encroaching darkness, while the city by day has a wonderful waterside location, being built across an archipelago of 14 islands and featuring fine buildings such as the castle and Storkyrkan Cathedral.

Outstanding natural scenery is always close at hand in Stockholm, with the huge Lake Malaren nearby.
