A Wheely Good Show

A wheely good show Geneva is a good place to visit at any time, but between March 8th and the 18th it could be even better for car enthusiasts as the seventh Palexpo Exhibition Centre plays host to the International Motor Show.

Open from 10.00 to 20.00 local time from Monday to Friday and 09.00 to 19.00 Saturday and Sunday, the show features a vast range of new models from a range of car manufacturers.

Entry costs CF14 (£5.91), while the centre can be reached by bus from the city or by train from the airport.

Apart from the car show, Geneva has a wide range of attractions to enjoy.

There are cruises on the lake, visits to the UN Building, the history of the medieval town centre and easy access to the Alps, with the highest peak in western Europe, Mont Blanc, looming in the near distance.

Geneva has plenty of accommodation options, including cheap hotels.
