People staying in cheap hotels in Geneva at the end of June will be able to ensure they have a cool and groovy time by relaxing to a spot of jazz.
Between June 25th and 29th, the Swiss city will host an event titled L'AMR aux Cropettes.
This festival will comprise five days of totally free, open-air jazz concerts performed by local bands and orchestras, all of whom practice improvisation, ensuring that the event stays faithful to the nature of the genre.
A friendly and relaxed atmosphere characterises this musical celebration, which incorporates food and drink stalls, as well as children's entertainment offerings on the Saturday and Sunday afternoons.
Visitors will find the event at Geneva's Parc des Cropettes.
Between July 2nd and August 21st this year, Geneva will host three series of open-air concerts, with classical and jazz gigs taking place in the Town Hall Courtyard and modern music being performed on the Ella Fitzgerald stage in La Grange Park.
