Geneva Museum Goes Prehistoric

Geneva museum goes prehistoric Geneva's Museum of Art and History will be delving into prehistoric times at a special exhibition this year.

The display, which people staying in cheap hotels in Geneva will be able to see until October 26th, focuses on the ways of life led by the ancient communities of the Rhone Valley and the shores of Lake Geneva.

Visitors will be able to learn about hunter-gatherers who colonised areas freed by retreating glaciers around 12,000 BC.

The exhibition also looks at the first Neolithic crop farmers, the development of civilisation during the bronze age and the emergence of Celtic society.

Holidaymakers visiting Geneva will be able to find the Museum of Art and History on Rue Charles-Galland.

The Swiss city is home to a number of cultural and learning establishments, including the International Museum of the Reformation and the Musee Ariana.
