Geneva Prepares for Euro 2008 Mania
Football fans planning a holiday for Euro 2008, despite the absence of England from this year's tournament, should book their cheap hotels in Geneva soon if they want to experience the event from one of Switzerland's most beautiful cities.
The Stade de Geneve is one of eight stadiums in Austria and Switzerland that will be hosting matches for this year's tournament.
Visitors to the city will be able to enjoy a number of top group matches, including a clash between Portugal and Turkey on June 7th.
The Czech Republic will then play Portugal in the Stade de Geneve on June 11th before facing Turkey on June 15th.
Euro 2008, which will run from June 7th until June 29th, will provide a number of ideal city break opportunities for football fans, with matches taking place in popular European locations including Zurich, Innsbruck, Basel and Salzburg.
Cheap hotels in Vienna are likely to be the most in-demand option, however, as the Austrian capital will host one semi-final and the final of this year's competition.
