Hit Geneva's Fete De La Musique
Geneva turns into a city of music for three days every summer when it hosts Fete de la Musique.
This year, culture vultures staying in cheap hotels in Geneva will be able to see what the local music scene has to offer between June 20th and 22nd.
Musical entertainment will fill the streets, squares and courtyards of the Swiss city for the duration of the event, with more than 50 stages being set up at various locations.
Lovers of all genres will be able to find something to keep them happy at the festival, with performances ranging from classical and world music to electro jazz, rock and pop.
Visitors to Geneva whose artistic interests have more of a historical leaning may be interested in heading to the Musee Ariana this summer to explore a collection of 18th century porcelain and faience.
The exhibition will also include archaeological objects with links to Chinese, Greek, Roman and Egyptian civilisations.
