Whisk Yourself to the Whiskyship
Those staying in cheap hotels in Zurich early in December will have the opportunity to enjoy one of the world's mot interestingly-named events: the Whiskyship festival.
Running this year between December 6th and December 9th, this event gives visitors the chance to immerse themselves in all things whisky-related and savour some unique blends of their favourite tipple.
Scottish visitors will find themselves particularly spoilt for choice, with six deluxe ships situated in Zurich's Burkliplatz dock exhibiting some of the finest Scotch whiskies.
There will also be some smoked salmon from Loch Fyne and selections of shortbreads to ensure that Scots feel at home.
Among the additions to the festival this year is a floating casino and a golf course.
However it may not advisable to gamble any money or start swinging a large metal object around after enjoying a glass or five of whisky.
