Holidaymakers in Thailand in February can join in with the country's tribute to its mammoth Asian neighbour, China.
People staying in hotels in Bangkok in February can visit Chinatown to experience the district's annual festival, which celebrates the culture, history and traditions of China.
This annual event takes place on Yaowarat Road in Chinatown, also known as the Golden Road or the Land of the Siamese Dragon.
One of the highlights of the festival is the cuisine on offer, which will include various rice dishes and soups, rice-noodle rolls with numerous fillings and old-fashioned coffee.
Demonstrations of cultural significance, fashion shows and showings of Chinese films will also be organised around Thailand's magnificent capital of Bangkok.
Bangkok is located in the heart of the country, near the coastline on the Gulf of Thailand.
The city is one of Asia's major tourist destinations, with historical venues such as the Grand Palace and the Wat Pho and Wat Arun temples among the most visited locations.
