An Earth-moving Experience in Istanbul

An earth-moving experience in Istanbul Music-lovers with an eye for the environmental can book a cheap hotel and head over to the Live Earth Turkey festival.

The Seven Towers Fortress, historic Byzantine site in the country's capital Istanbul, is the latest venue added to the worldwide 24-hour live extravaganza, accompanying Tokyo, New York, Sydney and London.

In the fight against global warming, music may be able to help, in addition to the representatives of the WWF on-hand and former United States vice president Alan Gore.

And Kevin Wall, chief executive of Control Room, has stated the importance of the event.

"Live Earth's 24 hours of music spanning all seven continents will move people in every corner of the planet to take action against global warming," he said.

Al Gore may need to pay for a cheap hotel room in order to store the awards he received for his documentary An Inconvenient Truth.

The climate change movie picked up Academy Award, Grammy and an American Cinema Editors gongs.
