A Desert Classic in Dubai
Golf fans will be able to enjoy a top tournament in one of the world's most luxurious locations next year as the PGA Tour comes to Dubai.
The Dubai Desert Classic takes place at the city's Emirates Golf Club between January 28th and February 3rd.
Henrik Stenson triumphed in this tournament in 2007 and will have some stiff competition if he wants to defend his title next year, as world number one Tiger Woods has confirmed he will be playing at the event.
Golf fans staying in cheap hotels in Dubai for this competition will be in for a treat as they will be able to visit the Majlis course at the Emirates Golf Club, which was the first grass golf course in the Middle East.
The course includes a particularly challenging 18th hole, which stretches almost 550 yards with a 90 degree dog-leg thrown in to make it difficult even for the pros.
The city of Dubai is one of the best known locations in the United Arab Emirates and is known across the world for its stunning architecture and the dramatic deserts that surround the city.
