Arabic Themed Hotels to Be Launched
Dubai, which has some of the world's most unique and spectacular hotels, is planning to take its style worldwide an international chain of Arabic themed hotels.
The venture, which will be fully compliant with Shariah law, is the joint project of Abraaj Capital and Bahrain-based Ithmaar Bank.
Sami Zoghbi, the new group's chief executive, claims that international travellers will benefit from traditional Arabic hospitality.
"The Serai Group's properties and service model will be designed to provide all travellers with a genuine sense of Middle Eastern and Islamic-style living in tandem with the full amenities and technological facilities that are expected from a world-class hotel operator."
Dubai's hotels are among the most luxurious and advanced in the world and the Burj Al Arab is the only six-star establishment.
The country's capital is a popular destination for tourists, with golf, horse racing, sightseeing and shopping all available to visitors.
