Book Cheap Hotels in Dubai for Archaeological Exhibition
People planning to book a cheap hotel in Dubai this month could be interested in learning more about the city's rich heritage at a new temporary exhibition.
The Heritage Collections Exhibition will be on display until February 28th at The Walk Jumeirah Beach Residence in Dubai Marina from 17:00 until 22:00 each night.
Organised by the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, the exhibition will offer "insight into Dubai's glorious past and progress through 3000 years … bring[ing] Emirati heritage closer home".
It will showcase exhibits from five other sites in the emirate, including artefacts from archaeological site Sarouq Al Hadeed, an industrial centre during the Neolithic period and the first millennium BC, manufacturing bronze, iron, gold and silver.
Ancient tools and jewellery will also be on show at the exhibition, which runs alongside the Dubai Shopping Festival. Visitors to the city can enjoy open-air markets and discounted designer wear during February.
