Dubai to Entertain the Jazz Crowd in February
Visitors staying in cheap hotels in Dubai in February will be jumping to the sounds of jazz as the city hosts a major music event.
The Skywards Dubai International Jazz Festival will take place between February 21st and March 1st at the Radisson SAS Hotel and Outdoor Amphitheatre.
This celebration of all things jazzy has developed into a massively popular occasion in recent years, according to organisers Chillout Productions.
Music fanatics flocked to Dubai from all over the United Arab Emirates and Europe for the 2007 event, the company claimed.
Anthony Younes, managing director of Chillout Productions, said: "On the first night we had a crowd of 6,500 fans, 9,000 attended the second night of the event, and an incredible crowd of 9,500 attended the final night of performances."
A number of major stars will be playing at the 2008 event, including David Gray and Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees.
