Dubai to Get Artistic
Visitors staying in cheap hotels in Dubai will be able to broaden their artistic knowledge in March as the emirate hosts its annual art show.
Art Dubai takes place every March, this year between March 19th and 22nd, at the Madinat Jumeirah.
As the first modern art fair in the United Arab Emirates city, Art Dubai has developed into an important part of the growing cultural community in the Middle East.
Over 70 galleries will be included in the 2008 fair, including work from the Middle East, Asia, Europe, the Americas, north Africa and Australia.
The show will be based in the Madinat Arena and Fort Island within the Madinat Jumeirah resort.
Dubai will be hosting plenty of events to keep its visitors entertained in March, including a tennis competition, which will run from February 25th to March 8th, and the Desert Rock festival on March 7th and 8th.
